NetSense

Head end system for maximum coverage with EnergyAxis LAN, SynergyNet mesh and Direct Connect. Manages electricity, water, gas, other grid devices.Simple deployment and operation with visibility into network activity and health.

Overview
No matter how densely or sparsely populated or how diverse the terrain in the service territory, Connexo NetSense is the right solution. This web-based head-end system allows for data collection flexibility from both SynergyNet RF mesh and cellular networks, giving utilities the greatest possible coverage. Connexo NetSense integrates data, workflows and business processes, making integration more cost effective. Designed to support all leading AMI communication technologies including mesh and direct connect, NetSense can accommodate data from gas, water and electric meters, as well as a variety of grid devices. Choose the out-of-the-box functionality to leverage built-in best practices, or you can adapt the software to match your own processes.

NetSense comes with embedded database technology that can easily manage the storage needs of a smaller utility or the deployment needs of a larger organization —whether you have hundreds of endpoints or millions. In addition, a data extract from NetSense enables users to easily discover trends and patterns, analyze AMI alarms and events and correlate data to analyze specific use cases using commercial reporting tools. Get easy access to multiple types of data: load profiles, register reads, events and communication logs. The system supports network topology insights, and the unified dashboard provides visibility into your network activity and health. NetSense also features built-in exception-based event processing and bestpractice workflows for issue management. NetSense is compliant with all the standards you’ll need: CMEP, CIM, MultiSpeak, HTML5 and APIs, enabling trouble-free integration with other enterprise systems. It’s also engineered to the highest security standards, supporting utility integrity with user-defined roles and standards-based LDAP integration.
